Frequently Asked Questions

The questions working professionals actually ask.

If yours isn't here, reach out directly. We respond within a few hours, not a few days.

Everything you need to know before you start.

From pricing and scheduling to international support and what happens if you don't hit your target. The answers are direct because your time is valuable.

It depends on the program, and most published "average" scores are misleading because they include admitted students with exceptional profiles in other areas. Harvard Kennedy School and Wharton typically see 328–340 from competitive applicants. Columbia and Booth sit around 320–328. We recommend researching the middle 80% score range for your specific programs and targeting the upper quartile. During the diagnostic, we help you set a realistic, program-specific target.
Most students reach their target in 4–10 weeks. A 10–15 point gap typically closes in 4–6 weeks with the Foundation package. A 28+ point improvement spans 8–12 weeks with Elite. The key variable isn't talent—it's how consistently you complete the between-session practice sets. Your diagnostic includes a specific timeline estimate based on your gap and schedule.
92% of students who complete their package and follow the recommended plan hit their target. In the rare case more work is needed, we offer additional sessions at a significantly reduced rate. We've been doing this for 15 years and we do not leave students short of their goal. That said, we're also honest during the diagnostic—if your gap is unrealistic for your timeline, we'll tell you that upfront rather than take your money.
Group courses and apps teach to the median student. We teach to you specifically. Every session is built around your diagnostic—the exact question types and content areas where you're losing points. Apps provide content; we provide real-time correction of thinking patterns, which is where scores are actually won. The practical difference: our average student reaches their target in 18 hours. The average Kaplan student logs 120+ hours and improves by 6–12 points. We cost less and deliver more.
Yes, on the Standard, Premium, and Elite packages. Typically 2–3 installments with no interest and no fees. Many of our students also receive partial or full reimbursement from their employers—we provide documentation that makes that process straightforward. Details are confirmed during the diagnostic session.
Yes. Upgrade at any time by paying the difference. Downgrading is also possible if your situation changes. We work with professionals whose schedules shift, whose test dates move, and whose companies change reimbursement policies mid-process. Flexibility is built in.
We've coached students from India, the UK, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and across Europe. All sessions are online via video, and time zones are managed collaboratively—we have coaches available from 6 AM to 11 PM across multiple zones. Our verbal coaches have specific experience helping non-native English speakers, particularly with inference and sentence equivalence questions.
6:00 AM to 11:00 PM in your time zone, seven days a week. We built it this way because our students are bankers, consultants, engineers, and physicians who cannot attend daytime classes. Sessions typically run 1.5–2 hours. We have never asked a student to rearrange their work schedule around us.
We match you with a coach within 24 hours. The diagnostic session is typically scheduled within 2–3 days, and coaching begins immediately after. If your test date is approaching fast, tell us—we've built accelerated timelines for students with as little as three weeks before their exam.
